We're here at Valley View Vineyard west of Ashland, Oregon. We camped here last night (with our Harvest Host memberships). Lovely lovely!
We bypassed Crater Lake (not enough time) and headed 3.5 hours (from Lakeview) to Valley View up and over some incredible forest from Kalamath Falls down to Ashland - then up the I-5 and over to the Applegate Valley.

Today, we're headed past my old haunts (from 30 years ago!) past Oregon Caves National Monument - stopping at a swim hole along the way - enroute to the Redwoods in northern California and then up the Oregon Coast. We'll camp north of Brookings (near Arch Rock or wherever we can find a place to boondock) and then tomorrow meet up with Sara and Will after 4 p.m. at Beachside State Recreation Area...
